Gossip and slander are things unbecoming of a follower of Christ. Gossip is always against the will of the Lord. The Lord commands us not to lie about others, and also not to discourage others. Gossip is neither truthful or encouraging. We should watch our mouth, and be careful what we say about others, especially our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
