Angels are spiritual beings that God created to serve Him. They carry out tasks, follow God’s orders, and enjoy the work they do for the Lord. There are multiple types of angels in the Bible, such as cherubim, archangels, seraphim, etc. They have unique jobs, such as protecting people and bringing healing, destruction, or news to people. Angels can look like humans, which is why the Bible says to entertain guests, as you may be entertaining angels. They are very powerful, and those who have not fallen (about 2/3 of the original number of angels) are part of God’s army, which will fight in the Battle of Armageddon. As humans, we need to respect angels, as they serve God directly.
